Hi guys , it has been a while since I blog post. Truth be told, I haven’t had the energy to write with everything that is going on in the world.
I have been feeling blah. And I have been under the weather lately. I needed God to redirect me.
I have been been taking these past two weeks to focus on Him. I am doing that still this week. I feel that it’s important to redirect yourself in times such as today
But I am better, and ready to start blogging about living with disabilities and how to be a mommy too. I am going to blog another post by next Friday.
I want to encourage you to be strong and brave while people are freaking out about the virus. No sickness or disease is higher than Him.
Also, if you want to know how to do something that would help you to have more of an efficient life, then shoot me an email or leave me a comment.
Well hello there! Thanks for stopping by and hang’in out with me. This is my very first blog post. So bear with me and I will get a hang of this. Honestly, I’m quite nervous about sharing this with the world!! Lol.
Who am I
` I am a mother of two awesome little boys. They are my pride and joy! 🤩 I have very quirky but loving and supportive husband. I wake up feeling blessed to have the life that I have.
You could say I am your typical average mom. And I am, except for one thing. I have a disability called cerebral palsy, or CP for short. Before you start feeling sorry for me, please don’t. I have had cp all of my life.
Don’t get me wrong, my life hasn’t been easy by far. I always look at my life as one big test, or many, many little tests.
Just so you know I am also a believer in God (the God of Abraham). So in my blog, I will be talking a lot about my walk with the Lord, my savior who has kept me strong all these years.
Why write this blog?
I am starting this blog for a few reasons. But the main reason I started this blog is in the hopes that it would help someone through their own fears. Someone who is struggling with the idea of being a parent, while having a disability. I am hoping to give you the best advice and tactics to help you with being the best parent as you can be.
I want you to know that there are people out there, people just like you. Who want a family or just to live life without it passing them by.
Believe me, I’ve been there and have felt the same way as you may feel now, that you want to give up. I wanted to give up at one point as well before everything starting picking up and gaining traction in my life.
Something had to give.
And it did! To make a long story short I decided to get up and start making my life and dreams happen.
First off, I met my loving husband online. Let me tell you, our first date was awkward. But somehow we got past it. And we have 2 beautiful children who are our blessings! .
Being a parent is hard enough as able body.(ask my husband). But it’s harder for people with disabilities. What I am trying to say is, you are not alone! I am right here with you!
You got this!
Here are some of the things I will cover in my blog
Having cerebral palsy while being a mother and wife
How I overcame my fears and doubts of having my own family
Advice and tips that I found helpful to me as I take care of my boys
And so much more…
I wish I could have known what I know now. I hope you come back. See you next week!
Hi guys. I am so excited to share my life and experience on living with cerebral palsy. Not only will you be able to learn something about what it is like to be disabled and having kids, but I am hoping to learn something along the way also.
I will be posting my first blog post next week. By Thursday stay tuned!
